When I joined ParKam the company already had a pretty basic website, built on a wordpress theme. At first, I've made some slight adjustments and updated the graphic materials, but during 2017 I suggested to build a new website.
It was decided use this opportunity to do some re-thinking about the following issues:
- The strucutre/layout - first from a conceptual point of view, then implementing it through the design
- User flow - what are the key words/messages we want our visitor to see on the website? What's the general impression of the company from the home screen? Does it serve our goals? How to showcase our solutions?
- Microcopy - rewrite existing texts and add new marketing/sales points. Keep it short and effective.
- Look & feel - give the website a more current design, using the various marketing graphic materials I already created for other purposes, and creating new ones.
